10 years clean today from a crippling opioid addiction and alcolism. A huge thank you to those who helped me along the way, and a very special thank you to my wife, who had every reason to give up on me, but never did. But most of all thank you to God who in my darkest hour, when I was out of bullshit, out of drugs, out of money, out of friends, and my family has just walked out the door and I knew they were done with me. I wanted to end it all that day, but before my family left, they got all of my guns out of the house.
