So, I'm reading bout this A14 due process clause: and I don't really fully understand...

Amendment 14
Citizenship Rights.
1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

While it reads, to me, in the context of the whole section 1, the due process clause applies to just the states (of the union) no mention of federal governmnent.
However, according to kommie-pedia it's for all levels of government. Fine, sounds about right, really:

The Due Process Clause builds on the Fifth Amendment to prohibit all levels of government from depriving people of life, liberty, or property without substantive and procedural due process.

But, it seems, due process is required where denial of life, Liberty or property is at stake. Now, I'm no constitutional scholar, but how does deportation deny life, Liberty or property? You can have those basics, just not here. Well, unless a rival gang promises, threatens to deny you your life, I guess.
