I think the issues with the FBI and other agencies goes a lot deeper than you might imagine. I believe you mentioned that Strozk's wife received a campaign donation at the same time he was on the "we'll stop Trump" promise to his FBI playmate. My understanding is that the "donation" to her campaign was $500,000+ for a minor political office. My guess is that nobody spent more than $50k on their campaign. The plot thickens when the source of the donation is considered ....... Terry McAuliffe. People identify him as his current office rather than considering the background.

Terry McAuliffe and Peter Kelly were partners in a small LA Lawfirm Kelly McAuliffe. Their specialty was dealing with bank charters and approval of bank branch locations which required approval of the folks in Sacramento. They were significant players in California democratic politics. They were part of Clinton's successful Presidential run and both moved to DC with great inside access.
