@kyleseraphin Steve was pondering on his show the other day about the way Flock has gotten everyone up in an uproar vs all the other invasive stuff the government has done to us. I don’t think he got it quite right. I think the Flock cameras are the target of American rage because it is something people can DO something about. When the NSA starts spying we have no recourse but to complain to congress. We know what a waist of time that would be. Flock is physical and in the citizen’s domain and an average Joe can figure out how to take one down. People need to feel that a task has success as an outcome if they are going to put their energy towards it. All the built up rage citizens have against the surveillance state finally has a tangible target. People feel it’s something they have the power to combat.
